Sewing, Knitting…Santa’s Workshop

I love the latest hat.  Tater does, too!

Tater in her new hat!

She was a vision of purple loveliness as she went off to school this morning.  ♥♥♥
Now, to knit another, slightly more masculine version, for Dan.  On the sly…

And speaking of on the sly…Santa's elves are also busy sewing up this cuteness:

Nutcracker Doll

For a little girl who keeps adding last minute requests to her Santa list.  Sunday, she talked to Santa Himself, and asked for a dollhouse!!!  Huh?  Don't we have…ummm…at least SIX of those at her disposal already?!  Last week, it was a doll.  Which inspired the above sewing frenzy, created from a pattern in Alicia Paulson's new book.  Such an easy, quick project…I'm (oops…I mean Santa) is hoping to finish – soon!

  1. I am in love with that hat!! What’s the pattern?

  2. The hat is great and the doll is adorable. You really have been busy.

  3. Awesome job on the hat. I love the doll. I can imagine a basket full of them…something to go with the song “Jesus loves the little children all the children of the world, red and yellow, black and white they are precious in His sight…” Have a great day!:o)

  4. Very nice work on that hat Miss Martha!! Show and tell when you finish the doll please!

  5. Great hat. I think Dassa just wants a dollhouse that she can call her own. Maybe she could get the shell for Christmas and you could work together on furnishing it, a good mom-daughter project … because you don’t have enough projects in your life. Haha. Happy
