Went to the Woods Today…
…it was beautiful.
Warm and breezy, not what you'd expect for the First of December in New England. The wind has picked up now and Jax is sticking close to me. He really doesn't like wind. Boppa called and reminded us to get outside and see this:
That's Venus at the bottom and Jupiter on the right. The girls and I looked and looked. I implored Dan to leave his office and run outside to see it, too.
Wonder if he did?

Looks like a fun day! We have woods very much like that where I live. And the photo of the Moon, Venus and Jupiter is amazing!
I am hoping we can see them tonight as well.

I missed the moon, it was too cloudy.

A walk in the woods…wonderful, they look very much like our woods here in Lakeland. I wonder if the trees are the same, we have mainly oak, ash, beech, birch, yew, Scots pine, sycamore, hazel and some holly (no chickens in our woods unfortunately). Love the girls boots, so snug.

We were out last night as well –the moon was phenomenal–orange almost. Lou said it looked like a fairy tale moon. Hels told me it was there with Jupiter and Mars but that it looked like the Cheshire Cat smiling!
